Steve Cliff has carpentry in his blood. Ever since completing his apprenticeship in 1998 he’s been involved in the building industry and has a passion for seeing plans on paper become a true reality. Over the years Steve has worked hard and committed himself, honing his skills while acquiring new ones and gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience, ultimately bringing his own style and standard to the industry.
At SC Projects he leads his small team of licensed building practitioners from the front. He regularly spends time on site and personally takes care of project management as well as client communication to ensure satisfaction and reassurance from the start of the project, right through to finish completion.
One of the advantages of running a boutique building company means every client is offered the personal touch. We believe on-going communication is vital to a project running smoothly. Every client’s needs and requirements are different and are carefully considered and enhanced with advice and ideas from Steve and his team.
The team love nothing better than tackling a challenging build but are equally adept at building a standard family home that will stand the test of time and provide a place to call home for years to come.
Steve is Christchurch born and bred and is committed to creating beautiful practical spaces in Canterbury. Whether it’s a stunning one-off architecturally designed home or exciting new commercial development, the team are there to see the project through, with attention detail and true care for each piece in the building journey.
As a Site Safe member, Health and Safety is paramount on every SC Projects building site, as is ongoing staff training to improve and learn new skills.
Since starting his business in 2011, Steve has established strong relationships with expert subcontractors and suppliers who, like him, believe in outstanding workmanship, cost-effective building solutions and the importance of meeting deadlines, without compromising the end result!
